Cafe Papeneiland

On the corner of the Prinsengracht and Brouwersgracht you'll find one of the oldest cafe's in Amsterdam. It's alleged that a coffin-maker and funeral director sold drinks here on the side as early as 1600. For years and years the bars is now run by the same family Netel.
